This privacy policy explains how NEWS2 Pro (“the app”) handles information. The app is developed and provided by Dr Atif Elnil (“we”, “us”, the developer).
NEWS2 Pro does not collect, store, or share any personal data. The app works entirely offline. We do not use analytics, advertising, tracking technologies, or any third-party data collection.
None. We do not collect any personal information, usage data, device identifiers, location, or health information through the app. No account or sign-in is required, and you are never asked to provide personal details.
Any clinical observations you enter for the trend-tracking feature, along with your app preferences, are stored only locally on your device. This information is never transmitted to us or to any third party. You can delete it at any time within the app, and it is removed if you delete the app.
The app does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or data-collection services.
The app contains links to the Royal College of Physicians website. Opening a link leaves the app and uses your device’s web browser; any information you provide on external sites is governed by their own privacy policies, not this one.
NEWS2 Pro is a clinical reference and education tool intended for healthcare professionals. It is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
